A Weekend Course for Beginners + Healing Arts Facilitators

Saturday, August 24th, 1-5 P.M. Sunday, August 25th, 1-5 P.M.

Learn the transformative power of sound with our two-day, eight-hour Introduction to Sound Healing workshop. Designed for those new to the practice, this course delves into the ancient roots + modern applications of sound as a healing tool. Engage with a variety of instruments—including crystal + bronze bowls, gongs, tuning forks, + more—under the expert direction of our instructor as you experience the therapeutic benefits of sound firsthand. The workshop runs for four hours each day, punctuated by a restorative break to reflect + rejuvenate. As each day winds down, we'll gather for a 15-30 minute Q&A session, followed by a soothing sound experience led by Samer, designed to relax your mind + integrate your day’s learnings.

This class has a 12-person maximum capacity.

About Samer Ghadry Brooklyn-based musician and sound healer Samer Ghadry creates universally enchanting sound experiences. His unique approach blends improvisational music, drumming, clinical sound therapy, shamanistic traditions, and elemental systems. After touring with Matthew Dear, Dave Harrington, and Deradoorian, Samer studied with esteemed mentors at 9 Ways Academia, Sage Academy of Sound Energy, Rebecca Singer, Don Conreaux, and Dr. John Beaulieu. He integrates broad philosophical concepts with intricate sound healing techniques. Samer mentors, teaches music to children, and runs a sound healing practice in the tri-state area and upstate New York. In April 2024, he released "Soft As Metal" gong meditations and contributed to "Everything Everywhere All At Once" and Alanis Morissette’s "Storm Before The Calm." He also consulted for the Rubin Museum’s Mandala Lab gong installation.
